LIVE UPDATE from our #BigCatPhotoSafari to Sabi Sand, South Africa.
By Specialist Photographic Guide Lance van de Vyver.
Our final 24 hours on Big Cat Photo Safari ended off brilliantly as we rounded off another successful trip. Having seen an incredible six different individual adult leopards, 3 lion prides, a lion coalition and an astounding five wild dog sightings. Yesterday afternoon we found the Torchwood lion pride and spent the whole afternoon and evening with them shooting different techniques once it became dark
We also saw an African Civet and a Gennet on the way home.
This morning we found another pack of wild dogs on the hunt. They killed a scrub hare next to our vehicle before moving south, followed closely by a hyena.
We photographed a pair of fish eagles and some dwarf mongoose sunning themselves on a termite mound, before heading to the hyena den where we photographed a hyena cub with its mum.
All in all, a fantastic and successful trip and we cannot wait to be back in June. We have last minute availability and are running a special for just R17000 per person sharing. Please enquire below.
